Beating the Blues

Beating the Blues imageAvailable in venues across the region, Beating the Blues is an easy-to-use self-help computer programme based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), designed to help develop more effective coping skills.

Use of the programme is completely anonymous and confidential.

WHERE CAN I ACCESS THE SYSTEM?
The system is currently available at 6 locations across West Wiltshire and we are hoping to extend this to more sites over the coming months.

MIND, Trowbridge
The system is located in the summerhouse, in the garden and there is an alcove at the back where people can work privately on the computer. There is no need to book in advance.

Eastleigh Surgery, Westbury
You need to book sessions in advance, simply by phoning the surgery. You can book up to 6 sessions.

West Wiltshire Libraries
It is also available at the following libraries:

You do not need to be a member of the library service to use the system. You just need to call the library to book your own place on the programme.

Online
You can now access the CCBT Beating the Blues package online. You need to contact Sophia Dakin, Administrator, Green Lane Hospital in Devizes on 01380 731335 and she will enable access to this resource.
