We are asking patients to please be aware that Practice staff will need time to adjust to the new software. Every effort has been made to minimise disruption to patient services.

We are pleased to inform you that we have been able to up-grade our telephone system to allow patients to know what number they are in the queue when waiting to be answered by a member of the team.

On Friday 21st May 2010 the practice will be switching to a new computer system.

We are asking patients to please be aware that practice staff will need time to adjust to the new software.

In line with existing practice policy from 1st November 2009 repeat prescription requests will no longer be taken over the telephone.

The Patient Participation Group have been consulted and are in full support of the practice reinforcing this rule.

You are entitled to a pneumonia injection:

• if you are in any of the flu ’at risk groups’

if you are over 65 years old or born before 1st April 1945
