Jeans for Genes Day
On Friday 19th September 2014, the Practice will be taking part in the National Campaign, Jeans for Genes Day.
The staff will be making a donation and will be wearing jeans on this day.
There will be a donation box at reception at the Bradford on Avon Health Centre for any patients who would also like to make a donation.
Also as part of the fundraising day, 'SpongeBob Squarepants' trolley keys will be available to buy at Reception for £2 each.

Possible New Practice App!
The Practice is looking at the possiblity of providing a "Practice Communicator App" to patients.

'Did Not Attend' Appointment Data
During the month of August 2014, 4.2% of patients DID NOT ATTEND their routine GP appointment.
This equates to 23.1 hours of lost time for other patients to see the doctor!
On average, 7.9 appointments are wasted with the nurse every week day!
Building Work at The Health Centre
You will have probably noticed over the past few days that there has been some extensive building work taking place outside the front of the surgery.
The wall has been knocked down and tarmac is being laid in order to create some extra parking space for our Doctors.
We apologise for any disruption this may have caused if you have visited the surgery during this time and we are pleased to say that the work has almost been completed.

The Practice is pleased to announce that Dr Allen has completed his GP training and is joining the team as one of our GP Associates.
Dr Allen will continue to work at St. Damian's Surgery in Melksham and The Bradford on Avon Health Centre.

The Leg Club - Dates For Your Diary
The Leg Club is held at St Margaret's Hall, Bradford on Avon every Tuesday, opening at 9am.
However, on the following dates, the Leg Club will move from a Tuesday to a Wednesday (due to the Blood Bank using the Hall)

In February 2014, 504 patients completed the patient questionnaire, either in the surgery or via the practice website.
