Stressed, anxious, depressed?
The practice have a team of Mental Health Practitioners who are able to provide patients with support when going through a difficult period in their life.

At the surgery we are constantly looking at ways to improve our service for all our patients but we are particularly aware of the need to support those with mental health conditions, an area which hasn’t necessarily been well supported in recent years. As a practice we are always assessing individual needs and building resources to enable us to refer you to the appropriate service.
We have a number of leaflets to give you which will help direct you to find the right support. We can offer exercise on prescription and books on prescription.

IAPT Service and Access for Patients to Silvercloud online CBT Facility
SilverCloud offer effective online programmes for anxiety and depression which can be tailored to individuals in an all online learning environment. The content is designed to be motivational, easy to use and interactive supporting the user to learn about and develop evidence based CBT techniques for a variety of common mental health problems . It offers flexible learning and is supported by The Wiltshire IAPT service both online and by telephone from an allocated supporter. Users can access the programme at any time as they work through the modules at their own pace and they are able to build a ‘tool box’ of techniques which they can access on line for up to a year.
Appropriate for people experiencing mild-moderate depression and/or anxiety as the primary problem who are over 16 years of age. Following initial assessment by an IAPT practitioner the individual programme will be set up and overseen and supported by the service. Access can be via the web or by downloading an app to a smartphone or tablet (android or ios).

Richmond Fellowship (RF) Wiltshire & Swindon Employment Service
RF is a specialist provider of mental health services, and one of the biggest voluntary sector providers of mental health care in England, working with 6,000 people.
RF helps people with mental health problems to look and apply for paid work or other job related opportunities i.e. voluntary work or training. For those in employment RF can provide assistance on managing workplace stress and staying in work.

Meetings are by appointment only and last up to 1 hour.
Help will be provided for your return to employment, identifying your goal and needs. This can be voluntary work, training courses or paid employment.
